1. Introduction
The website https://defalto.com (the "website") is operated by IT-Solutions4You s.r.o. The website uses cookies and similar technologies. In this policy we explain which of them we use, why, and how you can decide about them.
Cookies that are necessary for the website to work are always active. Statistics and marketing cookies are stored only after you give your consent, and you can change your decision at any time.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that the website stores in your browser. On your next visit the browser sends it back to the website or to the third party that stored it, so that it can recognise your device or remember your settings.
3. Similar technologies
Besides cookies, websites use scripts (pieces of program code that make the website interactive), web beacons or pixels (tiny images or code that report a page visit to a service) and local storage in the browser. In this policy we call all of them "cookies".
4. Categories of cookies

5.4 Technologies without cookies
- Google Tag Manager loads the statistics and marketing tags above according to your consent. It does not store cookies itself.
- Our own visitor statistics count visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms against spam. It runs only on pages with a form.
6. Third parties and data transfers
Statistics and marketing cookies are stored by Google Ireland Limited, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. These companies may transfer data to their parent companies in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses. How each provider handles the data is described in its privacy policy.
7. Consent
On your first visit we show a cookie bar where you can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies or choose individual categories. Until you decide, only necessary cookies are used. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again.
7.1 Manage your consent settings
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
8. Enabling, disabling and deleting cookies
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work as expected, and the cookie bar will appear again on your next visit.
9. Your rights
When cookies contain personal data, you have the right to access, rectify and erase the data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Slovakia is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
